Legal Information: We will employ you for ‘light work’ duties, and per legal regulations regarding young people working, your employment must not interfere with your education. We will complete an employment permit, and specific hours apply depending on your age, whether you work during term times or school holidays. Employment permits are specific to: - The child - Their employer - Their place of work - The type of work - The hours of work If you already have a work permit for another job, we must complete one specific to your employment at Pole Attack Kids.
RECRUITMENT INFORMATION AGES 16-18 POLE ATTACK YOUTH ADULT SCHEME Join Our Pole Attack Young Adult Youth Teaching Assistance Programme for Ages 16-18! Our Pole Attack Young Adult Programme is specifically designed for young athletes aged 16-18 looking to shadow and gain work experience for a future in aerial arts. This initiative aims to empower participants while promoting their personal development and growth through our youth and adult classes. What We Offer: Our programme fosters essential leadership skills, enhances confidence, and encourages hands-on, skill-based learning. Participants will have the opportunity to develop creativity, critical thinking, mentorship abilities, teamwork, and personal growth—all in a fun and engaging environment! As a participant, you may also be offered a role as an instructor, with potential opportunities for a complimentary qualification (terms apply/performance-related). Who Are We Looking For: We seek dedicated assistants who can commit to weekly classes, as well as individuals interested in short-term work experience placements for college or further education. If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you! Are You: - Aged 16-18 and left year 11 and still in full or part time education? - Enthusiastic about pole and aerial disciplines? - Eager to learn and receptive to feedback? - Excited about the opportunity to serve as a young adult youth coach? - Interested in further developing your skills and expanding your knowledge? - Passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of your peers? - Committed to attending weekly classes as a assistant who can shadow the instructor of the class? - Are you hoping to ‘shadow’ an experienced instructor to gain experience? - Are you looking for ‘work experience’? Benefits of Joining Our Programme: In addition to gaining hands-on experience within our classes and alongside our instructors, participants will receive the following benefits: - Hours of Work: You will be required to commit to at least one class per week (this does not include any holidays or sick leave). - Discounted Adult Classes: Receive reduced rates for adult classes in exchange for your participation in youth training. - Free Qualification Course: You may be eligible for a complimentary qualification course in pole or aerial training as a reward for your commitment (terms apply/performance-based). 1. If you assist in one class a week: You will receive a discounted rate of £8.50 per adult class instead of the standard £12.81 (£102.50 per term). 2. If you assist in two or more classes a week: You can attend one free adult class per week, valued at £102.50 per term. Additional Opportunities: If we are pleased with your contributions, and upon completing two years of youth assistance work through our programmes, we will cover the cost of your qualification in your chosen field, which is currently around £500. You will select one qualification but can continue to assist in youth classes across all disciplines. - A minimum commitment of one year in our youth scheme and one year in our young adult scheme is required, or a minimum of two years in the young adult scheme. The minimum age to complete your qualification is 18. - From ages 18+, you will have the option to be paid for your work under the UK law. - Upon completion of your qualification, in exchange for us funding the course, you would be required to sign a contract to work for Pole Attack and its associated businesses for one year, during which you would agree not to work for any competing company. Should you choose not to pursue a complementary qualification, you will still have the freedom to work with other similar enterprises if you choose to fund the qualification yourself. Why Join Us?
